I am NOW quite happy with this step down, but it took soldering up 3 of them before I figured out hoe it worked. Unfortunately, no instructions. No matter how many volts I put in it wouldn't output 5v. I then discovered the little shiny plus sign looking thing (+) is an adjuster. With a small screw driver, turn it one way or the other to increase or decrease the step down voltage. Instructions would have been handy, but quite happy with the product. Hope this might help others a bit
