Would recommend that you put in some switchable fuses or switches in your circuit between battery and regulator if you are to ever change around batteries and for general safety when wiring. Save the unit from human error. Usb-charging works well. First unit had a tiny dent from shipping, second unit was in perfect condition. Only cosmetic. Both works well.

Worked perfectly out of the box. It draws less than 10mA at night, delivers charge as soon as the sun is up, and stops charging at 13.7V as advertised. The display shows the current voltage accurately. I am happy, especially at this price.
