I've a needed some buttons for hermetically sealed equipment that is out exposed to the weather, and these proximity switches are the answer, I've mounted then directly to the inside the sealed plastic box and printed on the outside to indicate where they are, they work perfectly well through almost 2mm of ABS. Still untested is whether they'll be triggered by some of the torrential rains we sometimes get.

These work excellently. I had problems with multiple channel versions but these work exactly as they should. Excellent value.
