This simple piece of metal fits nicely onto my 40a ESC, and when fed through a hole in the foam, completely solved an issue with heat! My scratch-built parkjet is a bit tight inside and so all the parts were squished up against each other which restricted airflow. The ESC built up enough heat in one flight to melt its way out of a shrink wrap that it came with. Mounting the ESC outside the fuselage solved this issue but it looked a bit messy. Addition of this heatsink allowed things to be a lot more neat while maintaining sufficient cooling action.
