I have used a lot of these sensors in my home. The whole central heating system depends on it. In combination with the Raspberry PI projects like these become very easy. On the photos one can see that I use them to measure the water temperatures in the pipes to and from the radiators and underfloor heating. All on a single cable with just three wires.

good price, if on specks (yet to be tested) great buy, trouble is that as with the magnets I bought in this order they come in their own individual plastic bag making for a sh*t load of non recyclable waste, come on bang good do a better job
