This Oil Temp Gauge Works. I have ordered 3 digital display types from BG and they did not work properly, they all displayed far too high temp. All of them also had an annoying "feature" where they flash at high temp making them useless on an air cooled engine that does run indeed at a higher temp (not the fatal temps didital gauges indicate). This analog unit is as far as I can tell is accurate. It is in use on a vintage type 2 VW Westy Van that has a long wire route from sender to gauge which may confuse digital types.
