I mistakenly thought the disk would get warm. It is a ultrasonic transducer and stays cool. Works great! Comes with a fiber rod that works well supplying the water to the transducer. Only problems are: as usual for Banggood, NO INSTRUCTIONS. NO DIAGRAMS. Also no method of attaching the disk to the fiber stick! Glue is not a solution as it would block the water and not much will stick to the fiber rod anyway.

Works really well and provides stable jet of fog. Easy to use and quite compact. Price is ridiculously low. Will use this for various models (Volcano, Steam train etc.) as desktop accessory.
