Supercap has internal resistance of about 4 ohms, where it should be a few milli ohms. Supercap will discharge to around 4 Volt. Due to internal resistance they get quite warm. Useful for projects with low amperage, like a bike led. Not for projects with high power needs.

Works as advertised.

Description says these capacitors withstand 5.5V and that seems to be the case (i.e. they didn't explode when charged at 5.5V) however that doesn't seem to be the voltage they retain since the 3 capacitors I got quickly go down to slightly over 3V. That's no problem for my needs (buffer for a bike LED light). I can't say a thing about their real capacity as my DM can't measure such values. It would be nice to have a datasheet.

Very cool devices. Suitable for energy harvesting for sensors and intermittent compute devices. Charged to 4.7 volts two days ago. Current voltage 3.60 volts.
