I don’t normally like to recommend products because, well most stuff just doesn’t impress me that much. I’m going to make an exception though, and say if you want the best 600/1200 grit diamond stone set on the market buy this. Now understand I’ve probably got over $500 bucks invested in sharpening tools I’ve accumulated over the years including diamond stones from DMT but this beats them hands down. Why? 1. Great design and quality. The stones are well made with races to draw off grit and water. The surface diamond impregnation is uniform and consistent. The base has got super sticky non slip rubber feet so it doesn’t slide around like some name brand bases do. It is heavy thick injected plastic and feels solid and strong so you can press down as hard as you need to get a proper bevel. No shimmy or flex. The stone fits snuggly in the base and there a plastic cover. None of the name brands go that extra step. 2. Size. The stone is about 2.65 inches wide by 6.1 inches and over 2 inches high. This is a pretty big surface to work on. The hight is better than others because it higher enough your hand isn’t hitting the table and you don’t have to lay it on the edge of the table to make room for your hand. 3. Price. At $14.22, this is about 1/4 of a similar product from Lansky or DMT, that can run $60-80 bucks. Plus, shipping is free on this and on most of the stuff from Banggood.

This double sided sharpening stone is absolutely fantastic quality. It is really well made and works perfectly. It is really sturdy in the holder and sits nicely on the bench. Great for lapping and sharpening all types of bladed tools. I fully recommend this excellent tool.
