I have tested the iron temperature control and it works correctly, however the control knob is easily accidentally altered while using the iron. To prevent this I have added a surround of soft foam rubber strip to the handle to protect the adjustment control from accidental readjustment. I took a strip of 3mm thick foam adhesive strip, punched a hole to surround the temp. control knob, and wrapped the adhesive strip round the handle.
