I take this out for tennis matches in hot weather (currently around 96F when I play) and it keeps ice the entire night. It also holds more water than my normal nalgene bottle which would have no ice and warm water by nights end. The only weak part of it is the lid seems not be as well insulated as the rest of the container, it gets quite cold from the ice.

Very nice, demanding workmanship. Emptyly light, due to its large capacity (1.5 l) it is also a great companion on a longer tour. Due to its large mouth, it is an excellent option to take a hot, rich soup with you in winter, for up to three people.
