Stand is all metal and very nicely finished. It was easy to install and it arrived a week ahead of the scheduled date. However, I was unable to change the length of the stand as the adjusting screw was cross threaded and would not go all in. It took me a while to correct the problem and now the stand is fitted and I'm very happy with it.
