So in my opinion the quality of the plastic used is very good, while the case is a 1:1 copy of the Radtel RT-860, minus the middle second antenna slot in Radtel, here on DM-5000 there is a selector knob, for going up and down the settings and freq. the menu is good and easy to go through while selecting the settings, the buttons are very good, the sound quality is good, easy to charge via usb-c. While the Radtel is splash proof, there is nothing written about the DM-5000, so I suggest keeping it away from the elements until further official notice from the manufacturer. Now I have a problem with the CPS. I can save the channels by imputing the freq manually, but when I need to import settings, contacts and everything else, I can't do it. I have tried 3 different programming cables on 2 computers and the same error shows. When it doesn't show an error, the software hangs just before completion. Is it a software glitch? Is it the radios? I am waiting for Bajeton customer service to get back to me. I would like to flash the radios with the latest firmware, but with the programming error shown in the CPS, should I risk it bricking my radios? I know they are cheap but I like the design so I would rather use them. Should I buy them again ? NO. I would go for a Baofeng 1701 with OGD77 installed on them from the factory.
