Very handy and cute vernier. Reasonably accurate, good enough for rough measurement for woodworking. To make it better, file all the edges and polish them with fine sandpaper. Bend by hand slightly both body and inner scale for smoother sliding operation.

As depicted, a minor problem is that is somehow rough at the corners and edges, i resolved it with some fine sand paper ,in 1 min it was ready.
