Likes: small size makes it a carry always torch. Just on and off is great as no annoying flashing. It has a nice light pattern with a spot of about 300mm at 2m. But the light out put is very poor, I expected it to be much better may be mine is faulty? See attached photo. Photo 1 is the dog photo 2 is a LED lenser P3 with a nicad battery from the same distance.

For an EDC light what do you want? 50 different modes? Not me. Just a few that adequately covers the simple tasks. Need to get up int the middle of the night and can't remember what mode your light is on? No problem with the DQG 4th Tiny. Always comes on in low which is more than adequate to prevent breaking your neck stumbling to the bathroom. Need more light quickly? A double click form off on the comfortable switch gets you to medium and a triple clicks gets you to high. From any mode a double click gets you to turbo and this light delivers a powerful turbo with a nice hot spot in a remarkably small package. ReManG from BLF says its a nice 18650 battery holder with a great light attached. An accurate description. Also this has the best clip I've used. If you need a pocketable EDC light with the power and long run time of a 18650 this s the light. Don't hesitate. Get one and there are codes out there to get it delivered to the USA with tracking for under $30. I ordered mine on a Friday mooring and the following Saturday it was in my mailbox. For free? Can't beat that. Before this I had a S15R from Olight. I though that was nice until it crapped out on the 31st day of ownership so it couldn't be returned. I paid $30 for the S15R too (it came with a battery and charger mind you) and the DQG 4th Tiny is a much better light. Not even close. More power, more run time, usable clip (the S15 clip is garbage) even better UI without blinkies. This is a solid choice for an EDC light. Ed Gray

I have a DQG spy on my keyring and though id try this as I had a spare 18650 laying around, I bought the grey version that looks really good and performs very well indeed, would recommend.

Tiny for an 18650 light when compared to my Olight S2R :-) The hotspot is tighter in comparison as well. I ordered the CW version and the tint is very very similar to my Olight. I’m very happy with my purchase and will order the NW tint as well. For the price it can’t be beat!

It is nice to have a variety of lights on hand. Most important for me though, are my EDC lights. I carry three lights everyday. One in a belt sheath is a custom Convoy S2. A simple and robust light, with my preferred battery, the 18650. The second, is a Manker E02 and is strictly a back-up. It clips on the edge of my Swiss Army knife sheath quite securely. My primary light is a Manker U11. It has proven itself in every way, and I love it, but, I am prone to find new things, and I try them out for a time. My primary light gets clipped in a front pants pocket, so it needs to be slim so the pocket is still usable. I wanted to try the DQG mostly because of its small size and its 18650 battery. also like the super-simple user interface with NO strobe, which I never use. The DQG is very bright, well finished, and has a good clip for a pants pocket. The switch won't come on accidentally. CONS- not rechargeable, and no memory. The switch is not super easy to find, but I keep it at 90 deg to the clip and its not too bad. I also question the rubber switch boot (over time) The AD shows a light with a metal switch and after complaining to Banggood about the discrepancy they responded asking for a video. Really? A video? I sent a good photo and then they ignored me. So the light is nice, but not as comfortable to use as the Manker. Manker makes great lights. In the end, the switch and interface are most important to get right. I have a box full of lights that have failed switches. Also, I use my lights held in my teeth, with friction tape wrapped around the end for padding. This works superbly. Like hockey stick tape. Great stuff. Try it out.

Extreme small for a 18650, one of the best EDC. The number of modes suitable.

I wanted to like this torch, but can't recommend it. The listing shows an improved metal button. The one that arrived has the old rubber button that doesn't work very well and has been known to fail after a while. I will keep it and try to replace the button myself.
