Also, it's incredibly quiet (all you hear is an occasional crunching sound, which did get louder after I put the leaf stems in). I've tried composting outdoors, and it takes forever. Not to mention the flies/other pests that it attracts. So far, I love this product and can foresee all kinds of uses for it. I will definitely be using the compost in my houseplants, garden and on the lawn.
