This is a standard part at very low cost. I use it to provide microcontrollers without integrated USB-Interface with a USB Bus. Drivers to be downloaded at FTDI.

For a good and cheap solution to connect a board to a PC via USB I recommend this product. The promised 2 male headers are not included in the package.

Good quality item. Shipped in only a tiny plastic bag so the pins bent. Maybe use a little bit of bubble wrap to keep it safer. But overall very good. I already bought a second one from the seller.
