Arrived in good time. The device is compact and light weight and is comfortable. It can be folded up out of the way when not needed. The main drawbacks I have found with the device is that the angle of view and magnification is quite high making using them to walk around in the dark quite tricky. Another problem is that it can detect IR light in the 850nm range but not 940nm. I have a few torches in both frequencies but only the 850nm torches are effective. This is disappointing because the 940nm is invisible to the human eye, whereas an 850nm torch including the built in torch on the device glow red when activated. Overall I am happy with the device and would buy it again. If I could change it I would add an auto focus capability and reduce the magnification and increase the visible field of view so you get a better view of the ground around you, and would upgrade the sensor to detect 940nm light too. Otherwise it is a good reasonably priced set that is good for observation of things a short distance away.
