Best to buy as a pair IMO. Really solid build. Accurate. I read another review whereby someone mentioned Vernier Scale was missing - not the case for me. See photo showing a measurement of 10.5mm. I thought the tightening screw might be plastic - not the case. Black tightening screw is made of steel.
