Took over a hour to find my hex which had a bad motor and went down in some thick woods. Even when you plan all the things to have a good flight shit can still happen. I have over $2000 dollars worth of electronics on my Tarot 650 and a $3 dollar device saved the day emitting a strong sound for a hour. GPS gave me the general location but fail to tell me the drone was 25 feet up in a tree. If you fly FPV or anything you might lose sight of you would be crazy not to have this alarm onboard. Works flawlessly.

Starts beeping after 40-45 seconds of no (or very little) stick movement. It then beeps every 5 seconds for one minute (during which time you can cancel it by moving the stick sharply). After one minute of beeping it starts beeping more rapidly and then the only way to stop it, is to pull the plug. If you turn off the transmitter, it still waits the 40-45 seconds since last stick movement (other plane-finders start beeping immediately). I don't use it on throttle channel on my quad because my stick movements are too slight and it causes the alarm to sound.

This buzzer works great if you have the Naze board or the flip32 board becuase there is a special port for this unit on the FC that can be activated through for example Cleanflight to be buzzing when your battery drops below a certain voltage. good stuff
