This is one of the most versatile lights I have seen in a long time.They call it a tactical light but I say that is totally wrong. Yes it is designed and set up as a tactical light but with all of the different mode options and alternate battery options along with USB charging and one f the best carrying cases I have seen that comes with a flashlight. Normally for a carrying case this nice you have to purchase it separate and it will cost you 20 or 30 more dollars. It is very well machined, nice deep and wide threading, everything fits tight, it throws as well as many zoom-able lights and still floods very well. It is small and light enough to carry comfortably. it can be used for reading at night without keeping your partner awake and in a second crank out enough light to see everything on your front lawn. This is a multi-purpose light plain and simple. If you do need a tactical light well it can do that too. This was the first Rofis I have ever used or tested and it was great fun. I can highly recommend that anyone purchase this light it can be used for pretty any purpose. Excellent flashlight quality is really good UI is also similar to Olight lights. Good constant current regulation and well spaced modes. cons: only 820 lumens on highest mode and 25Amp at tailcap
