It is obviously only a thing for light use, a toy really, but I am very pleased with it, brilliant for the price. Only played for about an hour so far, pleasing results despite my lack of dexterity - this will take practice! Heh, the 'squirt' button is better placed for a left-handed person (which I am). The speed slider seems back-to-front, but once you realise, not a problem. I also got a pack of the ABS thread, if anything this works better that the PLA bits provided. Tried a sheet of aluminium to build on - no. A bit of wood is much better. Is really good fun, almost hypnotic. Have just ordered another one for my brother as a surprise present (he did sculpture at art college). Note well - no mains power supply with what I got, but worked fine from a regular USB phone charger. But I would recommend as a gift for a not-too-young-for-hot-things kid or adult artist/technologist to play with.
