Used this board to build a Bluetooth speaker out of 4 inch pvc pipe. Powered it with a 5s 18650 battery pack. This board connects fast to Bluetooth and sounds great on the 4ohm 3.5 inch 30 watt rms speakers and tweeters I used. I will definitely use this again in future builds. The only issue is you have to make connections to the push buttons on the board so you can control the volume and other functions. See the 3 red push buttons in the picture.

Looks well made, connected to my phone with no problems. Plenty loud enough. One component damaged but device still working. My only concern is the range, I can barely get across the room without the signal starting to break up. Looking at the PCB I can see that there is a ground plane under the antenna track. Now all guide lines I have seen state that this area must be kept clear of all tracks. This is a design fault. So I'm not surprised about the range. This could be resolved by replacing the PCB track antenna with a short 1/4 wavelength piece of wire.

The only flaw I can find is the bluetooth antenna on the board has a shield right next to it which limits range, however adding a short 30mm wire to the end of the antenna trace on the board fixed the range problem. I was able get about 20M from the unit before the sound dropped out. My review will be up on my youtube channel. This unit works great on a 12 volt 3 amp power supply, and produces great sound, on the full 24 volt power supply, it doubles the power output available on 12 volts. I go into this in my demo and do actual measurements on the output. What can I say, you can't go wrong on this for the price.
