I bought these to replace the older monochrome display version, which I'd bought on Ebay two years ago, which was difficult to read on account of the 'smoked glass' tinting of the plastic case which makes the display unnecessarily dim. I could see from the pictures that this would not be the case for this version simply by virtue of a clear viewing window devoid of any such counterproductive tinting effect. This did indeed prove to be the case. The display is pin sharp but I'm at that age where I need to don reading glasses or use a magnifying glass to read the 'fine print' in the display. The usage introduction leaflet supplied doesn't cover every option. Initially, like its monochrome predecessor, a long press would reset all measured quantities but now it just rotates the display by 180 deg (a useful feature) and single presses cycle through different display options. I have yet to figure out how to escape this sub menu it seems to be stuck in - the leaflet is no help whatsoever :( I searched just about everywhere for on-line instructions with no success. It seems one would need to experiment to discover the magic button sequences to access all of its features. It's a shame about the inadequate Chinglish instruction leaflet but other than that, it's a well featured USB power monitor.
