Very comfortable to wear even under socks and in shoes. It is made of very soft synthetic material. It did not come with a users guide which is not ideal as you have to do the research on how to use it. It also does not have washing instructions so I would stick to hand washing. Inside it is padded with silicone which is glued in and so washing overtime might dislodge it.
