I'm a flashlight collector I have currently over 175 flashlights and when I received this little light I was pleasantly surprised on the quality and how bright it is for only 900lm. I have a couple of 900lm lights more known brands and this one is just as bright also they added a neat feature and put a blue light in the switch that blinks when turned on. I have never heard of XANES before but now that I have I wouldn't be reluctant to get another one
