Battery 18650 with flat +pole doesn't reach the battery case contact, You need to put some metal part between the two - I used folded alu foil for that. Great headlamp with really nice beam. You can choose to use the spot, wide or both together. The straps feel good and is supporting the heavy battery and led unit well. Don't hesitate to buy if you need a great headlamp.
