These metal shocks came already oil filled. I fitted them into my xinlehong 9137 and gave my RC a run with the new shocks. The difference is like night and day. The car is now more stable which makes it more controllable and as an end result also a bit faster. The factory setting for these shocks is well balanced right out of the package. The cars value has been raised immense with this simple yet awesome looking upgrade.

So these beauties arrived today, fitted them onto my 9130, it is a lot firmer, cannot compare to the original. Noticed the the lowest setting is the best. Receive a lot earlier than anticipated.

these shocks are great. perfect for uneven ground, grass, and pretty good on the street as well. highly recommend as your suspension system.

Ordered 2 pairs, all came with different levels of fluid in them, one was almost completely dry, therefore it was a bit faltering. Brace yourself for a refill with your own stuff, if not because of the random levels of fills, but I think the oil in these are also a bit too dense for these small-ish cars, it is almost grease-like. After a proper refill, it really makes a difference compared to the factory shocks, the car (an XLH Q901)does not bounce around so much in a dumb way on uneven terrain.
