BeardedViking Ituses micro Losi connectors for the batteries. You can get connectors and attach to whatever battery you like (1S batteries) or buy batteries with the micro Losi connector. I found several options for 1S batteries with micro Losi online.

BG834225435 it's actually not the price that's advertised. those are the scalenparts but yes for a lower end hobby grade truck it's nice and smooth. hobbywig and flysky came around to make great electronics for this truck
