Q: Is there a video out there that shows how this connects and how it displays on the transmitter screen?

RC_Dude Simple. 1. connect the FS-CAT01 Altitude Sensor to your Rx FS-IA10B or FS-IA6B (I only tested those two Rx) iBUS > SENS port. Turn ON Rx. 2. On your FS-i6x or FS-i6 (I only tested those two Tx) transmitter in Rx setup set which sensors from the list will be displayed on the screen (you need ALT and maybe PR). Then you will see the height and pressure, nothing more than that I mean nothing more what depends on this pressure sensor. For accurate or desired height in meters the pressure (relative heigh not necessarily sea level) in the Tx settings must be calibrated every time before flight. Warning NOT FOR NOOBS. Upgrade firmware to Flyplus FS-i6 (vario only works with the FS-i6 data cable required). Then in the extra menu you will be able to set the variometer with an audible signal. Video how I did it will be much later. Flyplus firmware github.com qba667 FlySkyI6 releases tag 1.7.6 and don't forget RTFM.

The title describing this product says "....with GPS" I assumed that meant the DVR comes with the GPS module which mine did not. Banggood's product description is very poorly written. It should be more clearly stated that to enable the screen to capture GPS information the buyer needs to order the GPS module.

Q: This stupid ad does not even tell what this thing does. Picture shows it hanging and looking at the driver? WTF ..what does it do ??
