A video has been posted on YouTube, by a French youtuber (P. Demarliac) on this probe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5leqA90XC2Y, and I agree with him: this probe is perfect for measuring mains voltage with accuracy. The real bandwidth is 30 MHz (and not 100 MHz) but it’s not an issue for me (for switching power supply 30 MHz is enough), and the price is about the third of equivalent well-known probes (25 MHz, Testec SI9001, Keysight N2791A, etc.). If I had to propose some improvements, I would suggest including a readout for mainstream scope, and using a thicker coaxial.

Robust plugs, except alligator clips that are less robust. The screw thread is standard 3mm.

Nikolaz The resistance of 5 consecutively connected wires is 0.11 Ohm → This means that the average resistance of 1 wire is about 0,02 ohms, and this value is the standard average value for 18 AWG core copper (and these wire are said to be 18 AWG).

Normal wires, but the wire is non-standard. The conductor is thinner, and the insulation is thicker. The resistance of 5 consecutively connected wires is 0.11 Ohm.

As it is written, batteries are not included (I don’t pay attention to this when I order). I replace the alligator test clip because i) the wire is really thin (and the silicon-like sleeve very thick), and ii) the 4 mm banana plug was oxidised and a little bit narrow that 4 mm. I keep the test line (Cat II – 1,000 V). This multimeter is surprisingly accurate for its price (need to see if this accuracy stays over the long term), I think that it’s more cautious to restrict the use of this device to Cat. I/600 V. Forget the RMS mode. The distribution of the weight could be improved (barycentre is too far), but it’s difficult to achieve (need to change the batteries by only one smallest 3 V). Good value-for-money product, especially for beginners in electronics.

This tool is surprisingly expensive for what it is and for a Banggood product (DMM ANENG B01 is only $3 more!). It is lightweight, pleasant to hold, and efficient to use.

A French youtuber has posted these two step-by-step videos (useful) for using Nextion products: – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ob8wWfxDAls – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnV1ztuIF5E I chose a 35 because I feel uncomfortable small touch screen (I have not so small fingers also). I just play with the demonstration embedded in the product, and it’s OK. Remember that it is a resistive touch screen (not a capacitive, and no multitouch), so sometimes you need to try several times to see your choice to take into account. Anyway, it is a good value-for-money product that can give a professional aspect to your hobbyist montage.

This mat is very useful, and at this stage, I do not experience any issue with ESD. The three parts box with cover have fragile hinges: two out of three hinges were partially cut when I receive the product. I regret this, and I suggest Banggood to pay more attention to the packaging.

The first thing to do when you receive this product is to clean the adapters with isopropyl alcohol because they are full of flow. Software works fine on Windows 10, and it can be run even from a non-admin session. From my first tests, the product works well, I use for: – testing logical circuit (DIP form factor) → tests were OK – programming some MICROCHIP circuit (DIP form factor) → tests were OK – programming some ATMEL circuit (DIP form factor) → tests were OK I had a 18LF452 in PLCC form factor, so I plug it on the adapter, then I put adapter on the unit, I start the software and I choose 18LF452, and … it failed. The reason is that it was not specified, ‘(PLCC)’ as the form factor, so it means that you can manage only chips with a DIP form factor (because I think that the adapter match the pin 1 from PLCC socket to the pin 1 to the DIP socket, and 18LF452 does not have the same pin configuration in both the form factor). So be careful. From my point of view, the software should include all the form factor of a chip that is supported (because it does not seem very hard to do: only a logical mapping to change). I think that this product should cover 90% of the usual needs of a hobbyist.

Fully functional, decent tooth match in the jaws, good compressive force, not ‘perfect’ quality, but with a correct value-for-money ratio. For those who want to use this haemostat in surgery I am not sure that it is autoclave prove, nor that he complies with surgery requirements.

I was looking for *thin* BNC cables, and these are thin cable with moulded BNC plugs. Be careful, colour rings are *NOT* provided with this product.

The 4 mm side is right, it’s a rest-of-the-world 4 mm banana plug, but the 2 mm is not at all a 2 mm banana plug (too narrow)! so this product is worthless for me.

I ordered these because I was looking for Kelvin Clips that doesn’t require soldering, but unlikely even if it seems that you can plug 4 mm banana plugs you cannot! It’s too small from about 0.5 mm to 1 mm. I check with several genuine standard 4 mm banana plug from Keysight, and Pomona. Only banana plugs received from Banggod (included with ANEND B01) works, but this 4 mm banana plug have some free play when I use it with my Keysight and Tektronic device… So my conclusion is that ‘4 mm’ are not the same between China and the rest of the world :-). Except this point (that is for me a big disappointment), these clips are good quality.

This testing clip fits well and insure good contact. I use Dupont connector and it’s perfectly adjusted (not already the case on banggood...).

The device delivered was not in line with the description : - the "P" key doesn't dim the backlight - battery voltage was not displayed at the start-up - far away the key concern : the automatic mode doesn't work ([search] + [auto]), and display errors (Er 551155, Er ::82::, etc.). In manual way, the dut was displayed "KO" 3 time out of 5, but the 5 are good, and they are genuine components from TI, On-semi, etc. The good point is that Banggood propose to refund me, but it remains to be seen how the refund goes...
