The box was beat up and almost ripped in half. A tear started at the very center of the back, cut completely across one side, and ended in the drawing of the wing of the airplane on the front side of the box. There had not been any attempt to tape up the damage. I was afraid that parts might have spilled out during shipment and feared that the foam airplane would be smashed beyond use. To my surprise there was not a single dent or crease anywhere on the model and all the parts had been securely taped inside so they could not escape through the ripped opening. I ordered the kit version and have not yet received all the hardware I ordered separately that is needed to complete the assembly so I can't tell you how it flies. One thing I can tell you is that the airplane is huge. I will need help getting it into the air. I don't think there is any way that I can safely hand launch it myself while holding the transmitter. I want to check into some of the flight stabilizers that have auto launch. I am glad I bought it. If it flies as good as it looks, I'll be buying another one. I paid $149 and that is very reasonable for an airplane this big. That may have been the FX79 Buffalo that I paid $149 for but what ever I paid for the X-UAV Clouds it's worth it and I'm happy. While the 1880mm wingspan is shorter than my 2.6 meter ASW28 glider, the Clouds fuselage is much larger and can hold all kinds of gear needed for long FPV flights. My brother has a farm and we hope to use it to save him time and trouble when checking on the cattle. He had a bad wreck on his ATV while checking the cattle a couple of years ago. His doctor bills would have more than paid for several FPV airplanes.

Mikey If your receiver doesn't have the correct channel order output you'll have to rearrange the pins on the connector that plugs into the receiver. I had to set my transmitter to 120% (maximum) travel on both the throttle channel and the extra channel I used to select flight modes. I got manual mode with the flight mode switch in the center position. Stabilize mode was up and to Home mode was down on the flight mode switch. The "R" knob has to be fully clockwise to get Return to Home to work. I couldn't get return to home to work unless I about 100 feet high. I assume that's for safety reasons but if you're flying too low for RTH to kick in when it's selected that could be a problem. I turned the AIL and ELV knobs fully clockwise also but had to back each one off about a quarter turn or less to get the control I desired. After reversing the transmitter channels to get the controls surfaces to go the correct direction in the manual mode, verify that the ailerons and elevator are also commanded to go the correct direction in stabilized mode and that surfaces deflect the correct direction to right the airplane when you tilt it. If the ailerons or the elevator deflect the wrong direction when tilted rotated the offending AIL or ELV knob counter-clockwise instead of clockwise and then back it off the appropriate quarter turn or less to get the stabilizing amount you desire. Be sure to set the correct airframe type via a short press of the button on the Sparrow and calibrate lo
