The model is different than shown. There are transparent parts which have to be cut out and glued to the wing tips. I guess that these are for light bulbs. This is very difficult to do. I would prefer to have been supplied with the version shown.

sx976 I came to similar conclusions. 3S1300mah seems to be the best battery size. I am using a 2805 2840kv motor with a 7035 prop. I needed 40g under the front of the battery to get the model to balance on the wires to the aileron servos (30% MAC).

this is not a first airplane. it has no self stabilizing tendencies (no dihedral to auto level) so you have to fly it all the time. that being said it is a good second or 3rd airplane depending on your prior skill. I am running mine on a 1650kv motor and 30a esc and 1300mah 3s. I don’t see how you could fit anything bigger in. I started with a ep8060 prop and it was too much, it melted the hot glue holding the esc in. I stepped it down to an apc 7x6E which is better but still too much prop for my combo. I have apc 7x4E props on the way which I think will be just right. I couldn’t get the wood flap to stay glued onto the wing so I am using single #64 bands to hold the wing down. I added 2 1x6mm 500mm long carbon strips in the wing. the receiver is in the pocket for the center servo and I didn’t need any servo extensions. I am using 2.25 inch tires and I think it will handle grass ok. it has snowed for the winter so I am on skis now which it handles good. The springs on the skis have a tendency to nose it over but I need the angle. it has great aerobatic potential and I think it will be a favorite little park Flyer. it’s just the right size to keep around. mine was built with rudder from the start. it doesn’t need it in the air but makes ground handling fun. I added some holes for cooling air and a scoop out of lexan scraps it should help with temperatures along with the prop change.

I fly this model free flight in our sports hall powered by a 3.3F capacitor. It flies beutifully for 45 seconds. I had to do some rework on the motor pinion as it had flash which was blocking the gearbox. Otherwise this is a fantastic model!

I set it up on the bench first to get some experience. Turns a little bit more than 4 turns. Very good proprtional response to transmitter input, much better than the installed sail winch I bought it to replace. Excellent value for the price.

The watch was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. The hour and minute hands work as well as the wheel which ticks every second. The two small grey dials are decoration and do not work. The instructions included with the watch were not for this actual model. The name BIDEN shown on the dial has been changed to BiDen which was a disappointment. Otherwise it's a chunky, good looking watch.

The kit comes in two small plastic bags, not in a box. No problem with that as there was no shipping damage of any kind. No instructions included, but easy to download from the web. The quality of the parts is excellent!! I am looking forward to building this model.

Sehr guter und einfach zu bauende Hallenflieger.Die größte Herausforderung sind die winzigen Bauteile insbesondere die Flächenbefestigungsschrauben.Das Flugverhalten des fertigen Fliegers ist tadellos.Mit 1S 160mAh bringt das Leichtgewicht gerade mal 23g auf die Waage.Der Motor hat auch ausreichend Leistung und es ist auch mal ein Looping auf kleinstem Radius möglich.Der Schwerpunkt paßt und es sind lange Flugzeiten machbar.

I have been using the A3 and A3-L with full satisfaction. I ordered the A3 Pro as the gain potentiometers are assigned to elevator, rudder & aileron which I find better than being assigned to modes. At first the instructions looked complicated, but they are not. In fact they are extremely well written in perfect English and absolutely clear. I like the idea of splitting the setup into 3 separate sub menus as this simplifies the whole process. As always I set up the A3 Pro on my little test board, which make life much easier than trying to do it first of all in the model. This is a top notch flight controller.

The wood and the laser cutting is of a very good quality. The kit is packaged in a strong cardboard box and there was no shipping damage of any kind. This is a fun building project.

The foam parts and the painted finish are of a very high quality. They are securely packed in a thick foam box that will resist shipping. This is a really nice little model.

I just love this toy (Eagle). Plug in the wings and transparent fins and it is finished. It glides pretty well too and due to the rubbery kind of foam, it bounced right back off a wall it hit. Some much fun for so little money.

sx976 Thank you for your helpful information. As I fly in a Sports Hall, I have ordered the Rare Bear as you say it flies slower. I like your frsky Installation, so I also ordered the Oversky DSMX/DSM2 Receiver Integrated with Dual Servos so I can use my Spektrum DX7 transmitter. I am looking forward to the parts arriving!

nice flights. i use an all in one frsky brick instead of clasicals servos. the rare bear has a beter roll control and a slower flight

I chose the low cost European Direct Mail as I was in no hurry to get the kit. I don't want to build it until next year due to other projects. The shipping took less than 4 weeks, and I was very happy with that. The box looked pretty beat up, but the model itself was undamaged. The quality of the components is excellent. No manual included, so not for beginners. A very attractive model !

Q: This model does not seem to have 'Electromagnetic Rudder' but normal servos. Is a transmitter included ? It's not mentioned in the description !

sx976 I'm surprised that it has an ESC as the photo shows the combined Rx and ESC used on the Bearcat. In order to buy the correct Rx, there needs to be information on the plugs used on the ESC and servos. Or a recommended Rx.

sx976 I don't think there is a Receiver included. I am guessing, but I'm pretty sure you have to buy the combined DSM2 Receiver with ESC that is shown for the MinimumRC F8F Rare Bear.
