ryukin2000 8month Update: still works great but got tired of the crappy battery life so i decided to replace the battery with something bigger. upon opening up the adapter, the battery is only 60mAh. that's 50% of the advertised spec! No wonder it is only getting 2 hours max. i desoldered the battery and put in new wires that run outside to magnets. sandwiched between the magnets is a 2800mAh 18650 cell. should be able to get 60-90 hours run-time now.
ryukin2000 Just recieved mine and it indeed has the dreaded NMM. This is the second one i ordered because it is such a nice light with perfect tint and beam. I read that you can draw a line on one of the capacitors with a graphite pencil and it will remove the NMM. I tried it and it worked. Easy fix.
