Bought 10 and tested a few with a 5v 650ma wall charger. So far I've charged over 10 Panasonic 18650 2200mAh cells with no heat build-up whatsoever on the board. Voltmeter and Amp-meter show good curve regulation and cutout occurs just above 4.2v when the blue light comes on. I'm hoping to use Lion laptop cells to retrofit tools that originally used nimh cells - breathing new life into several items. So far, so good!

ales_ Goodidea, but you may be dissapointed with the performance and short life of laptop cells. These aren't made for high currents required by power tools. The sellers aren't aware about the maximum discharge current parameter, so you can rarely see lithium accumulators with this parameter stated.
