I have purchased two pairs of these lights. Only two are working properly. One stopped working after one day, one has very poor performance. You can see it in the picture... The recommended height for mounting is between 1.8 and 2.2m; I deliberately mounted them on 2.6m. The sensing distance is definitely not 8m, and is a little bit "slow". If you walk normally, you will pass the lamp and then the light will turn on. On one lamp (the one with poor performance), the sensor is triggering without any reason. Brightness is 200lm and it is sufficient to have some light to find your keys (this is what I expected :-)
