Very well packaged, batteries were actually at full capacity straight out the box. The unit quality is ok, perhaps the button operation could be improved, its easy to press the button once only to have the set number jump ahead two or three positions when you initially set it up. Claimed accuracy seems true, the reading pretty close compared to lab-grade mercury thermometer, reading was 28.4 on the unit and 28.0 on the thermometer, so close enough for an aquarium. The room temperature reading however was less accurate with 29.3 on the unit but 30 on the thermometer.
