Even if it's well built, it has some design flaw because it does not meet the specs. I got it as a stepup converter for the 18650 batt to 12v, to power a LED lamp and/or to move a small motor. Without any load it can be precisely adjusted to 12v out. Tested with a load of 5.7 ohms 10w (should drain 2.1A just a little above specs) and worked. But a load of 15 LED or a motor that both drain 250mA give a little flash and shut the output down. The same with a differrent module works eithout problems
