Got a range if over 4km in a suburban setting between two Baofeng UV9RPlus radios on VHF. The base of the antenna is too big for the UV9R Plus so used a minitool to grind it to the correct size.

Make sure you order the correct SMA for your Radio. If it is a BAOFENG set the antenna needs to be a socket (female) type. Good gain and additional range experienced both on VHF and UHF Bands.

Very good and flexible antenna. Fits well on Baofeng UV-5R and Wouxun kg-uvd1p. Didn't have a chance to test and compare it yet but from the looks of it, it appears promising. It's made in China, so probably it's not a genuine one, but that's fine as long as it does it's job.
