James Lewis These are a bit \"unregulated\" but since they are 4x white LED in series, they run happily at 12v... ideally you will want some kind of heatsink and to get the full 70w you will need regulation and a good heatsink.... I just tested one of mine at exactly 12v, and it pulled just about 2A, so ~24watts.

laricil Acomment posted with 5 stars stated 0.30ma whuch I interpreted as probably 300ma but after seeing this post I am thinking this might be 3amps if connected to a fully charged car battery. This is great news although not even half the 70W advertised.
