This 27MHz RC controller is supplied with the 27MHz Receiver circuit board all ready to connect to your RC project. I have not used the receiver board yet but have used the transmitter handset with an existing RC model car, and it worked perfectly from the start. The transmitter provides 4-channel signaling so that four different functions can be controlled. In the case of a car being controlled, this will provide Forward, Backward, Right and Left functions. These channels are also provided by the included receiver board. Both the transmitter and the receiver are supplied complete with their respective stiff (stainless steel) wire whip antennas. My trial with the transmitter with an existing receiver provided about 6 metres of control range. The transmitter worked with both primary and secondary (rechargeable cells). This shows that the voltage tolerance is good since the rechargeable cells are lower in voltage than the primary cells (1.2V/cell Vs 1.4V/cell typical). My RC car ran on 4 cells and worked with rechargeable batteries. These receivers are quite standard and it is most likely an indication that the supplied receiver board will also perform on the lower voltage. This is a useful consideration to ease the cost of running your model. The plastic used in the handset is very good quality and the buttons are tactile and sound. The unit is small but very good in the hand as it still provides a reasonable size to hold and feels comfortable. Banggood delivered the item in quick time (~4 days) which was outstanding. I give it 5 stars, but it was crushed in transit. THis happens a lot with goods coming to Australia. Zip loc bags offer no protection from rough handling and it happens from all sites not just banggood. "Save a penny and lose a customer" not a good business profile, small orders are still orders.
