The product arrived and is exactly what I purchased, a small 8 port 10/100 un-managed Ethernet switch. The device appears to work on initial testing. Proof of correct function will occur when I connect my 5 compute nodes to the device. Some things I did not like. It arrived in a post bag un-packaged, not even bubble wrap. The adapter that came with was not an AU adapter, but they did provide a travel adapter to use with it. Not so much of a problem. The switch is 5 volt, so can be powered from a usb hub. For $20AUS or less this appears to be a bargain.
