BG137542114 Hey corysus, my SSD gets burning hot even when the only thing connected to the docking station is the power supply (no computer and no use of the SSD). Does your heat up too? Thanks.

corysus @BG137542114 Yesit's hot but I think that is normal, before this DS I use same SSD with SSD enclosure and also get hot when connected to computer. I think that this DS don't have sleep mode for SSD to turn off SSD when not used in some period of time :(

corysus Imust update previous answer, today I get problem with SSD, I try to copy file of 50GB and after about 20GB of data get copied SSD freeze and macOS get unresponsive. Try serval times but always stop on about 20GB. DS and SSD become very hot at this moment, sometimes DS also restart.

PdroFR Hey, Corysus. Have you ever tested the M2 SDD (inside the dock station) with Time Machine back ups? I mean… this would be a great back up station attached to a MacBook (clamshell mode).
