A good product, with one proviso. AA batteries are nominally 14x50mm, but actual size can vary a little with different brands. Some wider batteries can make the case difficult to open. With my JCB NiMh 4xAA I need to use a coin to open the case. Using my Energizer and Uniross NiMh AAs I can open the case easily with my fingers. The product seems a good design. It will take up to 4xAA or 4xAAA. The cases are capable of clipping together side by side. I measured the inside dimensions of the case as; 50.1mm x 57.8mm, it is hard to get an exact measurement of the depth, but it seems to exceed 14.3mm. Outside; 66x60x17.5mm. Weight approx 13g.
