These boards don't go faulty very easily, I have 6 of these quads and none has given up so far except one which was actually my fault as I accidentally super glued it and powered it right away, so might have fried it there. Got a replacement, soldered the motor wires and the quad is back to business. I believe $7 price is quite high for this receiver board considering the price the complete set (frame, receiver, 4 motors, 8 props, charger and a remote) was about $10.
