Ready to fly straight of of the box (after battery charging/installation of course). I was amazed at how light the helicopter is - reading and feeling are not the same thing. Its been many years since I last flew and aircraft (full sized fixed wing) but the control responses are still there, although somewhat rusty, and the control actions with the left hand throttle mimic my earlier experience. My major problem is mastering throttle control - it climbs like a bat out of hell, and drops like a stone when the throttle is closed - no auto-rotate. However very pleased with my first trial in no-wind conditions, but I need a larger area than my small lawn surrounded by trees to get my control responses up to speed. It also handled the unmown grass - higher than the rotor height on the ground - very well. Very impressed overall - any failings are mine, not the helicopter's. I now need to think of a name for it - all my previous (deisel powered) models had names over 50 years ago. A brilliant pastime during the current Covid panic.
