I bought this item to use whilst out metal detecting, I had a simular one with a wooden handle that broke, I never took any notice of the size and assumed it was large and bulky like my last one, I was pleasantly suprised to find it was not much bigger that a garden trowel and folded up to roughly the size of my hand..perfect for my application, the build quality is very good and am very much looking forward to using it on my next outing.. thank you
