A very useful piece of RF kit. Perhaps not a synthesizer in its own right, but a fine module to use in the creation of a good wide band synthesizer.

At 6 GHz the outpur wanders about 3 kHz and is -30 kHz too low. Highly temperature dependant. The chip offers a thermistor input for stability, but is not used... The reference should be ovenized. Frequency offset adjustments ? Maybe in a firmware upgrade ? Any means of LF modulation input ? GUI incorperate an engineered sweep function with freq. steps and time. Great value for the money.
