I bought two of these, a black and a camo. They both seem to be ruggedly stitched with big tough zippers, and the inner liner looks to be waterproof. I wouldn't throw this bag in a creek but I think it will hold up to light rain. The bag is a little smaller than I expected, it won't fit a 14" laptop. I use one for carrying ammo and gun cleaning supplies to the range and the other for day hiking and so far they have held up well.
