All was ok, just I have to mention that the stated 10V voltage limit reffers to the ICL7660 IC, which makes a symetrical supply from the 9V battery, but this IC has absolute limit on 10V. I destroyed it accidentally, maybe my supply was guilty for some starting short overvoltage, but I replaced the circuit and all is OK now. This was my fault. But if you have the same issue, take the advice to replace the IC with the A suffix, this allows ab out 2V more for the input supply.
